The Infamous Masterson’s , situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my latest trip at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I experienced behind its walls was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.
The State of the Venue : Filthy and Neglected Beyond Belief
From the moment I entered , it was apparent that sanitation was not a priority at this bar . The surfaces were tacky , and a overpowering stench of stale beer and uncleaned toilets filled the entire pub. Emitting a scent of a mixture of ammonia , old age and a sickly smell.
